Access to the property is through a large gate and along a cypress-lined avenue. The extensive grounds include a grove of pine trees with a large table for dining.The pool is provided with a changing-room, a bathroom with shower and a fully-equipped paved area.
Steps and flower beds separate the pool from the hard tennis court. The furnishings are almost exclusively antique, interspersed with a few more modern pieces. The villa is located in the district of Patrignone, a small village ten minutes' walk away which has a food shop/bar.
Within easy reach of the various important centres of the area by the nearby motorway (about 10 km): San Sepolcro and Cortona are 30 km away, Florence and Siena 50 km. Prada and Gucci stock outlets 30 km.
Internet access on payment, mobile phone, possibility of flower arranging courses. 15 hours cleaning service/week are included in the price. No heating.
Arezzo is situated on a small hill on the edge of a wide valley basin between the high valley of Casentino, the Arno and the Chianti valleys.
The town which lives from crafts and trade (known for goldsmith art) still displays many buildings from the Middle Ages. One can view the masterpiece of Piero della Francesca in the San Francesco church: the fresque "The Legend of the Cross".
The antique market on the Piazza Grande is well-known. Important, historical city with 90'000 inhabitants, in the eastern part of the region, on a plain, on a river, in a convenient position, 65 km north-east from Siena, 75 km south-east from Firenze.
