Situated in one of the most charming areas of the Mugello (700 slm), Castello La Rocca is reached via the old road that leads from Tuscany to Emilia Romagna. The castle has ancient origins. In its large park there are, beside the castle, the manor house Villa di Castello (I5293/821), the caretakers house and a chapel that can be used for weddings.
The place is a wonderful setting for weddings and other special celebrations. Catering available on request. The following extra services are also available on request: cook, hourly household help, baby sitter.
Florence airport is 45 km away. Periods between 01.01.06 to 01.04.06 and 30.10.06 to 31.03.07 are bookable for a minimum of 2 weeks. Heating and hot water are extra payable locally according to use.
Check in must be before 19.30h. Luxurious castle "La Rocca", 18 km from the centre of Barberino di Mugello, 45 km from the centre of Firenze, in a quiet, elevated position, in the green. For shared use: park.
