The farm La Fornace (40 ha) is situated near to the small village of Ghivizzano, north of Lucca, in the Grafagnana area. Surrounded by large areas with trees, vineyards and olive trees there are 3 houses, totally renovated, belonging to a larger complex in a quiet and panoramic position, 300 m above sea level.
The farm produces wines, olive oil, fruit and vegetables plus a little stock farm. There is a communal swimming pool, sunshades, deck chairs, barbecue for shared use. Private outdoor areas too. One of the big outbuildings has been divided into 2 apartments, while Il Frutteto and L'Olivo are detached houses with independent entrance and private garden.
Excursions by mountain bikes, on foot or horse riding. Easy to reach: Ponte del Diavolo in Borgo a Mozzano 6 km, bagni di Lucca beaches 6 km, Barga approx 10 km, Lucca 31 km, Versilia beaches 55 km.
