Ancient villa from the 15th century built by Paolo Guinici, the husband of Ilaria del Carretto, who governed the city of Lucca for 30 years. The villa is named after its double lancet windows (in Italian, "bifora"), typical of the gothic style in Lucca.
Facing south, the villa is situated on a hillside covered in olive trees and vineyards with views of the plain of Lucca. Peaceful position. From the equipped lawn, enclosed by old walls, you access, by means of an external staircase, a lawn in a lower position where the swimming pool (5x10) is located as well as the ancient lemon conservatory (access also from the street).
In the back of villa is the refreshing summer garden. The original lacunar ceiling and the terra-cotta floors have preserved the ancient flavour of this villa yet which also offers the comforts of modern day.
