This beautiful old Borgo from the 14th century, surrounded by the hills of the Siennese countryside, one of the most enchanting areas in Tuscany and culturally one of Italy's richest, a few kilometres from Sienna and San Gimignano.
The famous Chianti vineyards offer many excursions in an area of rare beauty.
The Tyrrhenian Sea, with his beach resorts of Punta Ala and Castiglione della Pescaia, from which the Island of Elba and Giglio can easily be reached, is only 60 km away.
The next golf course is just 25 km away.
The Borgo of Il Poggiaccio, known for its history and architecture, was recently restructured, with fully remaining the ancient building and its original characteristic which is typical for a 14th-century village.
The Borgo Il Poggiaccio was once a small independent village that, as such, had its own little school, a bakery, a blacksmith's shop, etc.
The 14 apartments, which vary in size from 50 to 140 m², each architecturally different from the other, can be rented on a weekly basis.
The 7 superior double rooms with a minibar are also rented on a daily basis. All apartments include a fireplace and a well-equipped kitchen; they had been rebuilt and furnished with care and offer every modern comfort (satellite TV, telephone, radio etc.).
